INTERMEDIATE FLORALS LESSONS
These lessons are designed to deepen your skills and elevate your artistry. Over 3 hours, you’ll explore advanced techniques, refine brushstrokes, and develop a more sophisticated style to create intricate floral paintings. With guidance tailored to intermediate artists, you’ll also experiment with composition and dynamic color palettes to craft truly distinctive works.
Upcoming Classes
This is the second level of the Floral Oil Painting Course, proposed to deepen your understanding of floral oil compositions. In this stage, we will continue to explore and expand with advanced floral oils while incorporating diverse backgrounds that are softly blended. You will learn to arrange one or multiple flowers in containment using the wet-on-wet technique, allowing for a dynamic and fluid painting style.
Throughout this course, we will focus on depicting flowers from various perspectives, whether set against an abstract backdrop or a more subtle, diffused one. The aim is to create contemporary artworks that are suitable for display in homes, offices, or galleries. All necessary painting materials, including oil paints, brushes, an apron, canvas, and easel, will be provided during the class. A supply fee of $30.00 is required and should be paid to the instructor at the start of the session. As this is an intermediate level, prior painting experience or completion of Level 1 Beginner Floral Oils is strongly recommended.
